Abstract

A Sub-Acute Toxicity and Post Treatment analysis was conducted in male wistar rats to determine the effect of Fluoxetine Hydrochloride (Prozac-a second generation anti-depressant belongs to selective gerotonin reuptake inhibitors on testis. Cluoxctine was administered intra-peritoneally in depression induced male rates at doses of 20mg/kg and 80 mg/kg once a day for 14 days each dose was given to a group of 20 male rats (9-10 weeks of age, weighing 190-210 grams).
